Vintage 1995 black Brighton leather belt from the Brighton Museum Collection. Features a snake-skin textured black leather base with gold and silver concho-style metal coin detailing inspired by Greco-Roman decorative traditions. Includes engraved museum-style text on the reverse side. In good condition with classic ornamental craftsmanship and light wear as seen in photos. “Decorative golden coins, particularly fashionable in the second and third centuries, were often made into rings and awards for acts of distinction. Inspired by the Greco-Roman tradition, we’ve designed our own elegant silver settings to encase these golden treasures.”
