Vintage purple Fair Isle cardigan sweater from Imports, hand-knitted in Bolivia in the 1950s. Made from 100% wool with royal purple yarn and red, blue, pink, white, and black detailing. Features large gaping holes throughout and is missing all but one button.

This piece comes from a home built in 1797. The homeowner has lived in the home her whole life. Her mother owned an antique store in the lower level of the house for a period of time and began the Bluemont Fair. This piece comes from a home that is a piece of Virginia history. The homeowner hopes her and her family’s pieces go to loving new homes.
